Deliver clean page copies after signing with Split After Signing

Automatically generate a clean copy of selected pages from a signed document — no Certificate of Completion — and deliver it to the client portal or a specific email address the moment signing is complete.

When a document is signed, TrustPager saves the full signed copy with its Certificate of Completion attached. Sometimes you also need a clean copy of just certain pages, without the certificate, sent straight to a third party. Split After Signing handles that automatically.

A typical example: a mortgage broker collects a signed privacy consent from a client. The lender needs only page 1 — clean, no certificate. Rather than manually cropping and emailing it, you define a split on the template once. Every time that document is signed, TrustPager generates the clean copy and drops it into the client portal and/or emails it to the right people without any manual step.

Splits are defined on the document template, not on individual sends. Go to https://app.trustpager.com/content/documents, open a template, and go to its Settings tab. The Settings tab is available in both the section-based Document Builder (right sidebar) and the imported-PDF editor (tab at the top, alongside Fields and Signers).

Adding a split

Click Add split in the Settings tab. Each split has:

You can add more than one split if you need different page combinations sent to different places.

What the recipient gets

Each split is a flat PDF of the selected pages only. No Certificate of Completion is attached. It is not a redacted version of the signed document — it is a clean render of those pages, including any typed or drawn signatures that appear on them.

The original signed document, with its Certificate of Completion, is still saved and delivered as normal. Splits are additive: they do not replace anything.
