How to Set Up Online Booking & Scheduling
Create event types, control your availability, share your booking link, and automate what happens after a client books — your TrustPager scheduling page, end to end.
Get your TrustPager scheduling page live so clients can book time with you directly: no back-and-forth emails, no double bookings.
Create an event type
Event types define what someone can book: a 30-minute discovery call, a 60-minute site visit, a 15-minute follow-up. Each event type has its own length, location (in-person, phone, video link), buffer time before and after, and the form fields a client fills in when they book.
Head to Scheduling at https://app.trustpager.com/scheduling/event-types and create your first one. Give it a clear name (this is what the client will see), set the length, and pick whether you want the booking confirmation email and reminder SMS to fire automatically.
Control your availability
Connect your Google Calendar so TrustPager knows when you are free: busy time on your calendar blocks new bookings automatically. Then set the working hours when bookings can land, for example Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. You can have different hours per event type.
Share your booking link
Every event type has its own public URL. Drop it in your email signature, your website booking button, or send it directly to a contact from inside their record. When they book, the opportunity, contact, and booking activity all link up automatically inside your CRM.
Automate what happens after a booking
TrustPager can now trigger automations off booking activity on your scheduling page. This is native to TrustPager: you do not need a third-party integration to make it work.
Three events are available as triggers:
- Booking Created - a new booking has been made (from your public booking link, the staff Add Booking button, or your AI dialler)
- Booking Rescheduled - an existing booking has been moved to a new time
- Booking Cancelled - a booking has been cancelled
To wire one up, open the automation builder at https://app.trustpager.com/auto/automations, create a new automation, and select the Scheduler card (labelled "Booking events") from the trigger grid. Choose the event you want to respond to, then add your actions.
Common things to automate off a booking:
- Remove the contact from a nurture sequence. If you have been sending a "book a call" drip to a prospect, a Booking Created trigger can immediately remove them from that queue so they stop receiving chase emails the moment they book.
- Notify the assigned rep. Send an internal email or Slack message with the client name, contact details, and meeting time so the rep knows straight away.
- Move the opportunity to a new stage. Automatically progress the linked opportunity to "Meeting Booked" when a booking comes in.
- Re-engage after a cancellation. On Booking Cancelled, create a follow-up task or send an email offering alternative times.
