Quick Links Add Shortcuts to Any Record
How to set up Quick Link types in CRM Settings so your team can pin a named URL (Google Drive, Notion, Jira, etc.) to every opportunity and company record.
Quick Links let you pin named URLs to every opportunity and company record in your CRM. Once you define a link type like "Google Drive" or "Notion" a URL field for that type appears on every record, giving your team one-click access to the tools they use alongside each opportunity.
Set up Quick Link types
Go to https://app.trustpager.com/settings/crm and scroll to the Quick Links section.
Type a name for the link type for example, Google Drive, Notion, Dropbox, Jira, or any internal tool and click Add. Repeat for as many types as you need. You can reorder them by dragging, or remove a type with the delete icon.
Changes save automatically.
Add a link to a record
Open any opportunity or company record. In the right-hand sidebar you will see a Quick Links section with a field for each type you configured. Paste the URL into the relevant field and it saves instantly. Click the link at any time to open it in a new tab.
Each record holds its own URL for each type so one opportunity can point to one Drive folder while another points to a different one.
Quick Links vs URL custom fields
Both features store links on a record, but they serve different purposes:
- Quick Links are workspace-level shortcuts. You define the type once and every record gets that same named slot. Use them when the same kind of link exists on every record the project folder, the shared Notion doc, the Jira board.
- URL custom fields (configured in the Additional Information section of CRM Settings) attach a typed, labelled link field to a specific entity. Each field has its own label and value, and a single record can carry many of them an AFSA portal link, an ATO reference, a client brief URL. Use custom fields when the links differ in meaning from record to record.
Remove a Quick Link type
In CRM Settings under Quick Links, hover the type and click the delete icon. Removing a type hides the field from all records any URLs your team had saved for that type are no longer visible, though the data is retained if you re-add a type with the same name.
