How to Connect Slack

Connect your Slack workspace to TrustPager and post CRM events — new opportunities, stage changes, won deals — to any Slack channel via automations.

Connecting Slack to TrustPager lets your automations post messages to any Slack channel whenever something meaningful happens in your CRM — a new opportunity, a stage change, a form submission, or a won deal. Setup takes about two minutes: connect your workspace via OAuth, then add a Send Slack Message action to any automation.

Connect Your Slack Workspace

  1. Go to https://app.trustpager.com/auto/integrations.
  2. Find Slack in the available integrations list and click Connect.
  3. You will be redirected to Slack. Sign in to the workspace you want to connect, then click Allow to grant TrustPager permission to post messages and read your channel list.
  4. You will be sent back to TrustPager. Slack will appear in your connected integrations with your workspace name.

Only one Slack workspace can be connected per TrustPager workspace. If you need to switch workspaces, disconnect the existing integration first and reconnect.

Add a Send Slack Message Action to an Automation

Once Slack is connected, the Send Slack Message action is available in any automation.

  1. Open or create an automation at https://app.trustpager.com/auto/automations.
  2. Add an action and choose Send Slack Message.
  3. The action wizard opens in two steps:
  1. Click Save. The action appears in the automation timeline.
  2. Enable the automation. From now on, every time the trigger fires, TrustPager posts your message to the selected Slack channel.

Common Use Cases

Troubleshooting

Slack does not appear in the available integrations list. The page at https://app.trustpager.com/auto/integrations shows all platforms. If Slack is already connected, it moves to your connected integrations — check there first.

No channels appear in the action wizard. The Slack bot must be invited to a channel before TrustPager can post to it. In Slack, open the channel and type /invite @TrustPager, then reopen the action wizard.

Messages are not arriving. Check the automation run log at https://app.trustpager.com/auto/automations — open the automation and view recent runs. A failed Slack action usually means the bot was removed from the channel or the workspace connection lapsed. Reconnect Slack at https://app.trustpager.com/auto/integrations if needed.

I want to disconnect Slack. Go to https://app.trustpager.com/auto/integrations, find the Slack integration in your connected list, and click Disconnect. Any automations using Send Slack Message will fail to deliver until you reconnect.
