# POST /seo-research/check-rankings

Re-check every tracked keyword on a website now, each in its tracked location (TrustPager SEO). Runs in the background: read results with seo_list_rankings a few minutes later. Costs credits per keyword, charged up front; failed lookups are refunded. 409 if a check is already running. Nothing re-checks automatically, so call this whenever fresh positions are needed.

## Parameters

| `website_id` | body | string | yes | UUID of the website whose tracked keywords to re-check. |
| `require_approval` | body | boolean | no | Optional. Set true to route this write into the approval queue for human review instead of executing it immediately (returns 202 + an approval_id). Works even when your key/token has permission to execute directly. |
