# PATCH /agency/service-requests/:request_id/notes/:note_id

Change the text of a note you wrote on one of your agency's client service requests. Only your own notes, and only while your agency still looks after that client.

## Parameters

| `request_id` | path | string | yes | id from list_agency_service_requests |
| `note_id` | path | string | yes | notes[].id on that request |
| `content` | body | string | yes | The note, up to 20,000 characters. The client sees it on their service request. |
| `require_approval` | body | boolean | no | Optional. Set true to route this write into the approval queue for human review instead of executing it immediately (returns 202 + an approval_id). Works even when your key/token has permission to execute directly. |
